1st Annual Anime Washington Car Show
Held in conjunction with Anime Washington and the Washington State Gaming Expo at the Washington State Fair and Events Center in Puyallup, this inaugural event spotlights the mesmerizing phenomenon of Itasha—vehicles transformed into rolling canvases adorned with beloved anime characters, intricate decals, and bold vinyl wraps. From sleek JDM imports to custom-modified rides bursting with colorful manga-inspired designs, these anime-styled cars represent the ultimate fusion of otaku passion and car enthusiast craftsmanship.
Attendees can expect a stunning display of creativity, with owners showcasing their painstakingly detailed builds amid a lively atmosphere of cosplayers, fellow fans, and fellow gearheads. Whether you’re admiring the intricate details under the lights, snapping photos with your favorite character’s ride, or chatting with builders about their inspirations, this car show has the promise to be an annual tradition in the Pacific Northwest!
The Car Show will be open to all attendees at the show. Entry is completely free for participants, making it easy to roll in and show off your pride and joy. Spectators can wander the rows (behind stanchions) while taking photos and swapping stories with fellow enthusiasts.
To crown the occasion, prizes and awards will be handed out for: Best in Show, People’s Choice, Best JDM, Best Daily Driver Vehicle, Best Anime Theme, and Best Gaming Theme. All approved vehicle applications will come with two 3-day special exhibitor badges and gate entry to bring your vehicle in each day.
